I received the following e mail from a lady that had visited this web site and I was very touched by it. It was directed to all of us who served in Vietnam and I wanted to share it with everyone.Mr. RobinsonI want to thank you for serving in Vietnam. I was born in 1960, and remember many of Aunt's friends being drafted to serve in the Vietnam War. She is 10 years older than me, and saw a lot of her friends go right out of high school, like yourself. What was it like to be so young, 19, and to find yourself in such a faraway place, such as Vietnam, and in a war? I look at men of your generation, who served in Vietnam, as the ultimate hero's of my time. The Vietnam Vet has always been a source of inspiration to me in my life. Thank you for all you have done for my Country, and also, I would like to thank you for this Website.Forever Grateful,Demi |
