Tom Waterbury was my platoon leader from Jan-Sept 1970. He left Vietnam in Sept 70 and was in command of a basic training company at Ft. Campbell. He obtained the rank of Captain and ended his service in 1972. He still resides in Kentucky. Tom has written some stories about his experiences with Recon and I have used some excerpts from a few of them in this web site. Tom was a great platoon leader and brought the unit even closer together. He earned our trust and we knew we could depend on him.  He never would ask anything of us that he would not do himself.            email Tom
